When the time came to replace the top for my Mother’s beloved convertible Miata, I sprung into action. Researching, comparison shopping, calling various shops In and Outside of the Atlanta area, I came across Jean & Sons Upholsteryland. First it’s important to mention, as a Lady calling around to get quotes on any kind of Automotive work is like playing “Russian Roulette”. You’re usually spoken to like a major idiot, as if Internet or GOOGLE was never invented for purpose of gaining Knowledge!

Anyhow.. when I called Jean & Sons, a young lady answered (professionally) and after a brief hold I spoke to Nick who was BEYOND helpful, knowledgeable and friendly without that condescending tone us Lady-folk often times get.

His quote included the repair/replacement and warranty was HUNDREDS, I said HUNDREDS less that every shop I called (I called at least 10).

So of course we gathered all of ours coins and ran to drop the car off at the shop. Nick was just as kind and accommodating in person as previous phone conversations. After seeing the finished product, I believe Nick did a better job that Mazda! My mother was beyond excited and pleased with his work.

Side Note: On her way home from the shop, my mother was pulled over for speeding.. she explained to the Officer how she just picked up her car and how in her excitement she just wasn’t paying attention to her speed. How about … the Officer in lieu of a Ticket gives her a Warning and asked for the shop number! Says a lot about the quality of Jean & Sons workmanship!
