Dr. Kenneth G. Taylor is a general and interventional cardiologist who specializes in heart failure. Dr. Taylor founded and serves as the medical director for the Fuqua Heart Failure Resource Center and works with the Advanced Heart Failure program at Piedmont Heart. Dr. Taylor holds board certifications in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation as well as Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Echocardiography. He specializes in Advanced Heart Failure, Interventional Cardiology, and has additional interests in cardiac imaging (Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography), Pulmonary Hypertension and the cardiac evaluation of Liver and Kidney transplant candidates. Dr. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree from Williams College and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and his cardiology fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. He has been an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center and is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Georgia Regents University.
