Leah Robinowitz, DO, FACLM, completed her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. For her training in family medicine, Dr. Robinowitz moved to Jacksonville to complete a three-year residency. Since then, she has been an assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville and a UF Health physician. Although a full spectrum board certified family physician, she has clinical interests in women's health, weight management and plant-based lifestyles. Additionally, she offers osteopathic manipulative treatments, contraceptive procedures, such as Nexplanon and IUD devices, certain joint injections and certain skin procedures. Throughout her training, she has delivered more than 150 babies and is comfortable treating pregnant patients for non-obstetric medical concerns.In 2019, Dr. Robinowitz became board-certified in lifestyle medicine. Helping her patients become healthier using lifestyle modifications has been a source of great joy and satisfaction.In her spare time, Dr. Robinowitz enjoys traveling, any kind of physical activity, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and four children.
