Melissa Love is HORRIBLE. My recent experience touring properties with her was an eye opener of what to/not to do when it comes to home buying/picking the right realtor. All she wanted was a QUICK SALE. She was introduced by a friend and i trusted she would be ok. She saw me as a quick option to make money off of. Hindsight is 20/20. This was my first home purchase. I made her aware that I was already VA pre approved and the amount. I sent her properties that I was interested in and all the properties visited were ones I found. She set up a showing a couple days later.The only thing she did was schedule viewings for all available units in the same building since we were there already. We arrived simultaneously to the first location and she parked in the last available parking space. She refused to offer her spot & had me park in the back of the building by the trash compactor/loading dock while she stood in A.C. at the concierge desk. She actually did this at EVERY location we went to. She parked up front & I had to find parking & hike back. She conducted herself more like a homegirl just going along to be nosey than an actual realtor. While touring a property she was like OMG I love this in front of the seller. I wasn't impressed or quite sold. I toured and she talked in the kitchen with the sellers mom. She suggested lunch at Houston's before our final tour and managed to convince me to bid on the last condo that was $39,000 MORE than what my approval was for. Her bid was lowball w/no room to counter. Not knowing I agreed. ChaChing $8k com for her. Meanwhile she had the bartender split the tab for our lunch. She had me sign the contract & stopped answering my calls/text/emails when I had realized what she'd done & started questioning the offer. She only responded when I emailed the property wasn't VA. I withdrew offer after learning she never even did a comp analysis. She quickly sent canceled contract when I advised unit wasn't VA approved. She's unprofessional!!
