I took my vehicle in to get a headlight assembly repaired. I asked Jabari to call me before doing any work. He called me a few days later to say the work had been completed! Huh? I didn't even receive a quite. That wasn't the issue, though, as the price was completely acceptable.



When I went to pick the car up, I turned it on, and three dashboard alerts/ indicators went off in the vehicle. I asked Jabari about it, and he claimed these weren't related to the headlight issue. I found it odd that so many alerts were occurring so son after a repair. These were not an issue at all the day I dropped my car off at Luxury Auto Body. I asked Jabari to hook it up to a diagnostic computer to determine the issue. He agreed and I returned 20 minutes later to a smiling Jabari, stating that everything was fine now. I started the car, and once again, the indicators were lit up like a christmas tree. He immediately starting backpedaling, saying that the the only thing they did was remove the bumber and temperature sensor to repair the headlight assembly. He went on to explain that he did not have the equipment to reset the computer and that there was nothing more he could do.



The next day I took the vehicle to Buckhead Imports. The are obviously better equipped to repair and service vehicles, as they had the proper equipment to run a diagnostic check. Within minutes they determined that the temperature sensor was improperly re-installed on my vehicle, and this was causing the myriad alerts on my car. BTW - i never told him about the work that Luxury Auto Body conducted. It would cost $167 to repair the sensor correctly.



I then called Jabari back asking that Luxury Auto Body pay for the repairs. He got the owner on the phone who said, and I'm not kidding, "we gave you a good deal on the headlight. you shouldn't complain about other issues we may have caused". Like he did me a favor?! I PAID HIS ASKING PRICE WITH NO NEGOTIATIONS AND NO APPROVAL FOR EVEN STARTING THE JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE. He went on to say "bring the car back, we'll take out the headlight assembly, put in the bad assembly, and you can go on your way". WTF?!?!! Jabari then got back on the phone stating that he never touched the temperature sensor (complete lie!!!). He then said, again I can't make this up, "why the f*ck would you do this to me? Why would you stab me in the back?" WTF?!?!!! He was obviously lying to his boss to cover his mistake in damaging my temperature sensor.



Do yourself, your wallet, and your vehicle a favor and avoid this shady establishment at all costs. The place is an absolute mess and after seeing the unethical, unprofessional, and rude behavior of both the owner and his associate, I suggest finding someone else who actually knows how to repair a car and treat a customer.
