It finally hit me recently what I love about this place. While most restaurants in the city try hard to be a "scene" with loud, cramped bar areas and dining rooms, One Eared Stag bucks the trend with a more mellow atmosphere. Food has always been good, but their approach and plate selection sometimes leads to oddly differing platings. We've eaten here and had some folks begging for more when they got a small plate and others with twice as much as they needed. I know that can sometimes be hard to manage but it can be done. Still, we'll be back.
