They make a killer vanilla latte! Also, this is the perfect place to grab a breakfast sandwich before you wait for the bus or Marta. I recommend the ham and cheese on a croissant. They seem to be under staffed so service can be really slow. If there's a line longer than 3 people I usually just leave because it's not unusual to wait 10-15 minutes.

So, after reading some great reviews for this place, I was excited to check it out and took my best friend and her hubby (who were visiting for the first time). I was highly disappointed! The food was OK, but my breakfast combo cost over 10 bucks with a chocolate banana frappe. This wouldn't have been a problem if the food had been great, but the oatmeal was watery, the toast was drier than it should be, the *ham* I got was simply sandwich meat heated up.. but the eggs were decent. I will say that my frappe was pretty tasty, but my friend's iced coffee was terrible. Her husband's bacon, egg and cheese croissant wasn't up to par because the bacon was undercooked so he had to take it out (too chewy). Now for the service.. they are wayyy understaffed and not very friendly at all. I am not one to need a super cheerful cashier just to get breakfast, but I have had better experiences with fast food service than I did here. Overall, this place is overpriced, with underwhelming food and subpar service. The only thing I might possibly go back for is that frappe, because it is convenient (I live in Uptown Square Apartments which is above this place).

SIP is a great place to study or hold a business meeting. It's a high class cafe with great Counter Culture coffee.
