A representative of this company was out seeking to expand business at local neighborhood association meetings. I met him at a meeting in my community & took a card. I was interested in having a technician come to my home to check & diagnose a minor leak from my kitchen faucet. Upon the technicians arrival, I illustrated how the faucet leaked with the handle at an off position, & stopped when turned slightly toward the on position. This was a very manageable leak & I had been advised on countless occasions that it would be a simple fix. The tech proceeded to disassemble the sink & determined once apart that an internal part needed lubrication. Upon doing so, he put the sink back together, & during testing, the handle flew off & water shot up through the base of the sink. He attempted to put it back together again, but was unsuccessful. He stated that he'd cover up to $50 towards an entry level replacement sink, as it turns out, he covered no portion of the sinks cost, & I incurred the cost of the replacement in its entirety. When I called to address my position with the owner of the company, I was told that he was disappointed because I didn't pay enough. I was also told that his company couldn't take responsibility for fixtures breaking in peoples homes. In essence, he was telling me that though the sink was operable before his tech arrived, that he's not to be held responsible if it's inoperable as a result of his diagnostics process. I found my experience with this company to be an unfair & unsatisfactory one as it only takes into account its own interests. If I had a broader promulgation function, the world would know.
