When you think of BBQ I'm sure the first thing that comes to mind is ribs, chicken and pull pork. Well that was the same for me until I had Sweet Auburn's Shrimp & Grits. This was so good. Since this is a BBQ joint the shrimp are seasoned with a BBQ rub. The thing I found exciting was that they added a charred corn pico . This was different because I've never thought about adding corn. This is differently an ingredient I'll be adding to my own creation. Being full is not something you will have to worry about here. You will have enough for now and some for later. This is a great place to meet up with friends and family and just enjoy each other. They have a veggie plate for those of you who don't eat meat.

We love this barbecue. Authentic but upscale. The Korean bbq sandwich and tacos are GREAT. The french fries are also really yummy as a side.

Love this bbq place! My favorite in the city. Chef Joey is awesome as a person and a cook. Helped us defuse our ticking time bomb 5 year old with butter noodles. Oh, and the food and sweet tea is great, as is all the staff. Green beans will amaze you, loved by those who hate all vegetables. Their pear coleslaw, French fries and cheese grits are all delicious sides. My husband enjoys the ribs and pulled pork, I love the tacos. Parking currently can be a little tough but if you are in the Poncey Highland area it is worth it.
