Provided by YP.comMy family went into the Atlanta location today looking for a Queen sized mattress for my daughter's new college apartment. Once the sales lady heard our budget she no longer seemed interested in helping us out. Needless to say we left empty handed and not fans of The Dump. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who doesn't want to spend $1000 on a mattress and I certainly don't feel embarrassed about it. The $500 mattress I'm after is out there and the commission earned off my eventual purchase will go to someone more helpful and deserving of it.

Provided by YP.comJoshua Gray lied to us about the sofa we bought, there wasn't one in the back. Found out when my husband went to pick it up from the honest Whs Mgr. Someone wrote on the store copy to wrap up the floor model... Per store Mgr, we're getting a full refund. I'll never shop here again! It's a scam! Go to a business you can trust!!

Provided by YP.comGreat job from beginning to end. The delivery team got to my house before I did, so they started assembling the dining chairs while they waited for me to arrive. Very professional, fast, and courteous. Only downside is the cost of delivery being $150.

Provided by YP.comHorrible experience. We purchased a clearanced credenza (sideboard) that was in great condition. They could not load it for our takeaway at the time so my husband arranged to pick up a couple of hours later. At pickup he found that the store employees had dropped the piece and crushed a corner. He reported it and they said they would NOT repair it and would only give an extra credit of $75. No one had an idea of cost to repair at the time and we told them we would check and get back if a problem. Next day found the cost to repair was $125. Customer Service mgr said she wouldn't pay since they could repair. We said that sales told us they wouldn't repair. We would have been fine for the repair. Instead we are out the extra $50 FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED! Just makes me very angry I feel you can't trust them. If you can't carry it out yourself then you can't be sure your item will be in one piece.

Provided by YP.comAnother Atlanta favorite, however the service sucked. We passed by at least 6 people and none offered to help us. We saw pieces we were interested in but they were too expensive and could not warranty paying that much when we just about had to serve ourselves.

Provided by YP.comThis was a fanominal experience. Sales were great, and Ben and Pierre were amazing delivery guys. They layer a pad in my front door , put booths on and we're in and out in about 10 min. I will definitely be using the dump again when my basement is completed in a couple of weeks.

Provided by YP.comA great bedroom set at a fraction of the cost! Open the drawers and smell the cedar! And salesperson Bob is the greatest!

Provided by YPmobileGotta be honest, there are not any good deals here. We went in expecting inexpensive furniture and the prices were not any different than what we'd find elsewhere. And, the furniture seemed boring and cheap.

Provided by YP.comI had a terrible experience at the Buckhead facility today. I was in with family looking for a bed, and was assisted by Hakim. I was taken aback by some of his inappropriate comments towards me as they related to my parenting choices as well as to my decision to show my family member other alternatives. He became argumentative and unprofessional to the point that I simply left. I had planned to purchase a bed in a few weeks, and even planned to bring another relative who is moving back to Atlanta. After this experience, I am reluctant to ever visit this store again. By the way, we had to wait for Hakim to eat his lunch, we ended up spending over 2.5 hours in the store for what should have been a simple purchase.

Provided by YP.comThis store is exactly named "The Dump": not only exactly describes its furniture but also describes its customer service, especially exactly describes its security manager David Ratneiz.
We went its tent sale and found that a lot of furniture unloaded directly moved to its relatives' trucks. We got nothing from 9am to 3pm until we hold a chest. However, an Africa American woman pushed my husband and 4 years ‘old of son and tried to get this one, but my son pushed her hands back. Later, David Ratneiz came to ask us leave. I tried to explain but he refused to listen to me and just shouted to us "go". We left but we came the next morning. Immediately, David Ratneiz shouted to us to leave. I told him I would talk to the store manager and then leave. However, he blocked my way to the store manager's office.
He called the police and A. Allen came. I explained to A. Allen what happened, and asked him to help me talk to the store manager. A. Allen handed me a note 'David 404-617-6677'and I realized I was cheated by them. It was actually David Ratneiz’s personal cell phone number. I insisted to talk to the store manager. I was very shocked that A. Allen suddenly and fiercely bent and twisted my hands and arms for more than 5 minutes and arrested me. It was so painful that I had never suffered in my life. Meanwhile, David Ratneiz shouted around to arrest my husband and put my son into custody. My hands and arms had bruise marks for a long time and still suffered from that injury during bad weather since then.
In the police car, A. Allen received a phone called and from their conversation I knew it was from David Ratneiz. A.Allen explained him why he was unable to put my husband into jail. Then both laughed loudly over the phone.
The store manager had never showed up at that day although I was 100% sure that he was in the store. Even later I called the store a couple of times, the custom service always let me wait for more than 20 minutes and then hang me up.

Provided by YP.comThe negative reviews are FACTUAL. They are not just some people who have a chip. Speaking of chips would you pay 500 dollars for a coffee table with chis and a crack down the middle. The big scary. I went there to by a mattress. I kept smelling this industrial cleaner smell..it got worse as I got closer to the mattresses-I realized having used it when I travel what it is. BED BUG CLEANER. I ran as fast as I could for the door. The best idea for a top end furniture store would be to build next door. The prices are the same but the quality is scratch and dent without a scratch and dent price. This place is nasty. Think will go shower with brillo now.

Provided by YP.comPlease do not patronize this store in Atlanta. On November 23, 2012, my family purchased 2 sofas for our grandmother as advertised in their Black Friday circular. We placed an order for pick up with Ki-Myung Kim on December 8, 2012. We find out that the furniture is not in stock and won't be ready until the middle of January 2013 (keep in mind, that we find out this information in December AFTER we purchased the furniture). Now, we do not have any living room furniture for Christmas. We were NOT told that the furniture was not available. I called customer service and spoke to Joseph & Brandy, but they were unwilling to provide something extra for the inconvenience. Please save your money and support another store.

Provided by YP.comGreat place to shop for quality furniture! After reading a few reviews-we were a little relunctant to drive the 90 miles to the DUMP. However, we had an excellent experience. Plenty of sales staff available to direct you to your desired purchase, not pushy, just helpful. After trying out 100 leather recliners - we found an excellent buy on a rocker recliner - I had to ask the sales person if the price was correct! When he said it was, we bought 2 ! Loading was a 15" process - friendly loading staff and made sure we were ready to go. We will be back shopping for a leather couch later in the year - they also had excellent selection and pricing on these item.

Provided by YP.comI looked for a television armoire literally for years that had pocket doors and ample space for dvd's, music etc. I went into the Dump very cautious after reading reviews and was not shy about informing associates of that fact. And yes, I READ EVERYTHING!
I walked by a beautiful Philippe Langdon piece afraid to look at the sticker as I knew this was at least a $5,000-$6,000 piece. After saying a quick prayer (lol) I checked the price and it was on clearance. I couldn't believe it. Not a scratch on it! After checking around the ATL area and speaking with high end furniture stores here, the cheapest that I found the piece was $4800. When I told the owner the DUMP had it for $2100, he said " Ma'am , don't walk, don't run, fly back to that store!"
Needless to say, I took his advice and the GORGEOUS piece that took 3 huge men and my hubby to carry in, sits in my living area now. EVERYONE compliments the piece (90100-62 English and French Walnut Entertainment Center on Philippe Langdon site) and attempt to buy the almost 8 ft beauty off my hands which will never happen.:)
Therefore, I guess it depends on who you deal with and what you are looking for. My experience was seamless thank God!
