Provided by YP.comI went here for a Scoutmob tea tasting. Right when I walked in the door I was given seltzer and told to drink it to clear my palette. The person did not tell me who she was or anything. The person was the owner Doria. I’ve read many reviews on this place and I will say that most of them are similar in saying that Doria is not friendly or welcoming. The guy assisting her was nice but she was short and snappy with him. I hate to be negative, but that’s my sentiment as well. It’s kind of consistent with the Facebook page updates from them too. They are a bit dry. To focus on the positive, as there are many: What Doria does possess is great knowledge and overwhelming passion for tea. She taught our class and paired white, oolong, black and green teas with food that magnified the flavors. She explained history and information around the pairings and accommodated a vegan in our group with different selections. She recommended books for further reading and growing our knowledge. This place is very cute with lots of little trinkets, gadgets and gizmos. The positives outweigh the negatives and I’d recommend it and would love to go back for tea. I see you must reserve 24 hours in advance though so I will keep that in mind. Parking in Highlands is annoying in my opinion. I’d recommend alternate modes of transportation or walking if you can.

Provided by YP.comI love this place. It is quiet and peaceful. The tea selection is amazing and the staff is knowledgeable. The scones are fantastic. I get a pot of tea and a scone and curl up on the sofa with a book. heavenly.
