The Attleboro Fire Department s motto is we are ready to serve whenever we are called. For more than 100 years, the department has been committed to preserving life and property, providing emergency response services, code enforcement, public education and ongoing training. It acts as a first responder to structure and vehicle fires, wild fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents and water rescues. Its fire prevention and investigation services include code enforcement, fire cause determination, public education and construction plans review. The Attleboro Fire Department has two ladder trucks, seven engines, four ambulances and one hovercraft. It is housed in four stations throughout Attleboro, Mass.
