DO NOT SEE Blacketer if you need a psychiatrist
Two days ago I had the misfortune to be given an appointment with her in which she ridiculed and belittled me and all the 22 years of treatment with many different adult ADHD specialists I've received... after yelling at me that all my previous qualified psychiatrists had been "out of their minds" to give me the dexamphetimine sulphate which I have now been taking under their direction and guidance for 22 years... after yelling all this plus more things, like that I'm a drug addict and that my tears are only there because of the drugs.... (there is nothing more upsetting than being told your feelings are just the biproduct of drugs...) she actually had the audacity to try to get me to be HER PATIENT!!!!! She kept saying manipulatively at the end before I walked out, "oh, it's such a shame you don't trust me..." and I kept saying that, I don't know her... just met her.... and i trust my 22 years of qualified experts rather than her, a manipulative and seemingly aggressive and abusive family doctor who considers that her irrational and horrifying quick opinion is some how more qualified than people who actually specialise in psychiatry, such as the specialist I last saw in Hackney, London, UK, who ONLY DEALS WITH ADULT ADHD PATIENTS..... in my opinion this woman seemed manipulative and cruel... i left her office feeling hurt and violated. i think she would make a great dominatrix, and never someone who should be allowed to see people with mental health issues.
