Kings View Work Experience Center, established in 1973, serves people with developmental disabilities. It provides a range of services to people who need assistance in the development of social, vocational and independent living skills. The center offers adult development, work activity and supported employment programs. It is a part of Kings View Behavioral Health System, which is a nonprofit organization that serves people at various locations throughout central California. The system provides a variety of services, including mental health services and chemical dependency and drug abuse treatment and prevention services, as well as the services for people with developmental disorders. Kings View Work Experience Center serves more than 200 people with disabilities throughout Merced County, Calif., with its location in Atwater, Calif.
