I have loved living at Logan Square, it is super close to campus and I love my 3 bedroom unit and the roommates I was placed with. They recently renovated their pool and amenities and it looks wonderful!

Absolutely worst place my child has ever lived in. I have over ten years of different children living in different apartments in two cities and by far this is the worst situation we have ever experienced. The apartment is a mess, with numerous maintenance issues - including MOLD. Their office staff is rude and unfriendly, and their maintenance staff is incompetent. They repaired a toilet in the apartment that I cannot fully describe how poorly done it was. Their repair led to even more leaking within the apartment. When you go to the office to report a complaint, they write it on a post it note with a roll of their eyes. After weeks of my child and roommates trying to get issues resolved, I finally had to get involved as a parent which was the last thing I wanted to do. I called in the City of Auburn Code Enforcement Division and they found several issues that were health and safety hazards that had never been repaired. The manager - when I finally spoke with her was tolerable and assured me that the tenants would be taken seriously. They had finally made the repairs that were promised. However, as I suspected, she and her staff are now even more rude to my child and roommates. RUN don't walk away from Logan Square. I wouldn't wish this situation on my worst enemy. If I could give them a zero stars I would.

DON'T DO IT!!!

This review may seem somewhat long to many of you who read this in its entirety, but I assure you, I could write an entire book just describing all the problems with Logan Square Apartments. I signed a lease in February 2012 to live at Logan Square from August 2012 - August 2013. From day one, when I first moved in I was upset with the poor conditions the apartment was in. It was not cleaned up at all and numerous things were not properly functioning. Less than a month later, during the first week of September, they began a massive "renovation" project that is still going on now, 11 months later. I was never notified once about this renovation project that would going up prior to signing our lease. Even when it started, there was never any notification sent out to the tenants that construction would be occurring. I literally was woken up one early morning in September to a crew of construction workers re-siding our entire building. From September 2012-March 2013, I was woken up at 7:30am, 5-6 days a week due to construction work being done. I'll never forget the one day when I was attempting to study in my living room, when construction workers literally busted through my front door to replace it. I was the only person home and there was never any notification given to us that they would be doing that particular task on that day. I had no idea what was happening and ran to my room and grabbed my 12 gauge and people, I'm completely serious when I say this, I almost killed an innocent man. He was just doing his job and I totally understand that, but the management should have notified us of all things that our front door was going to be replaced on that particular day!!! Maintenance requests here are easily submitted on a weekly basis. Since August 2012, I have placed 73 separate maintenance requests. That is not 73 improper working things, but 73 different maintenance requests, many of which had numerous items listed on each request. The "gym" they have is completely garbage. half the free weights are missing, one of the treadmills barely functions, while the other one is out of order, and the gigantic universal piece of equipment that functions as three separate machines in one is inoperable. There are two maintenance. Logan Square may seem to be ascetically pleasing from the point of view of someone taking a tour, as it was for me and my roommates, but I assure you the living experience is absolutely terrible. Some great apartment complexes nearby are "The Grove" right across the street, "Edge West", which is right behind Logan Square, not to mention many of the smaller places off of W. Glenn. If you think I am fabricating anything about this review, then go ahead and throw your $$ down the drain and prepare yourself for a terrible living experience...PARENTS, PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD SIGN A LEASE WITH LOGAN SQUARE!!!!!
