Chang Bros is actually a rather decent place to eat Chinese food. It is much cleaner than the other Chinese places in Auburn. It has better service and organization than other places in Auburn. The food is good and plentiful. The lunch menu is particularly a good deal as you get a lot of food for a small price. However, I've found the flavor lacking. Sure it tastes ok but I'm not one to settle with just ok. Many of my food tasting cohorts and I have asked on numerous occasions to make the meal extra hot, or super spicy. I've asked to walk away crying before. yet the flavor was always pretty much the same. They added a few extra red peppers or something. When I'm in Auburn and I need a solid Chinese food restaurant then Chang's is my go to. If you're looking for something stupendous go elsewhere. If you are looking for good Chinese at a reasonable price, stop by.
