The Patrol Division provides emergency response services in Placer County in California. It is responsible for the enforcement of criminal and vehicle code regulations and crime investigation. The division maintains a staff of patrol deputies for the enforcement the County Code ordinances, including parking and snow removal violations. The Patrol Division employs more than 120 uniformed officers and supervisors. It provides motorcycle, bicycle, snowmobile, helicopter and marine patrol services. The division also offers explosives ordinance disposal and drug abuse resistance education services. The Patrol Division is a part of the County of Placer government, which operates administrative services, building, emergency, engineering and surveying, transit, risk management, information technology and public works departments.
