Horrible experience from a very COLD, UNCARING, UNCONCERNED staff. A friend trapped a pregnant female cat at work, and as I foster kittens he thought id be able to help him with this cat.He brought her to me in the trapping cage early this morning, I called all over, no one could really say what I should do with this cat, and it was very evident that she was feral, something beyond my experience. Nonetheless i wanted to help her in the best way for her. Roseville spca opened at 2 and i took her there, they wouldn't take her as she was found in Rocklin. They recommended Auburn Spay and neuter and provided the address. I went there and explained my dilemma, they said since I personally didn't capture the cat myself they would not take her, even though she was in the right area according to where she was found. I didn't realize I was expected to lie to receive help for this poor cat that had been in a cage ALL DAY!! What are these places for if not to help a pregnant feral cat?? Why neuter and spay just some and not ferals?? Just because I didnt personally trap her??? Isn't it all going back to the same problem? I did everything possible to deliver this cat to the proper place by jurisdiction and in the end they told me to just go release her!!! How hypocritical. And rude, uncaring. Such a BAD experience.I would never return to this place, no matter what. They all sat smugly behind there desks unwilling to help me in any way. Not animal people in any way, why are they even working in this field??? UGH

What a great friend i got from pound. The people at the pound were most helpful. It was a good experience. Later met some personel at local dog park and they remembered my dog. They were very happy to find they made a good match.
