Oakland Christian School holds that Christian education is the process of teaching and learning conducted by born-again Christian teachers in an environment where God and His Word are the highest authority.  The objective is to bring all knowledge into a living relationship with the truth of the Word of God. This can be accomplished only by integrating the whole of the student's personality with a Bible-centered, Christian world view, thereby enabling the student to serve and glorify God.

The Oakland Christian School Core Values parallel the areas of personal growth demonstrated by the life of Jesus Christ in Luke 2:52: "And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." (NAS) Therefore, our concern for every student entrusted to our care necessarily requires us to provide room for growth in each of these areas:
