Walker Self Defense Academy, located in Auburn Hills, is building mental and physical confidence, healthy hearts, minds and bodies. Walker Self Defense Academy offers classes for all age levels and abilities. Kid's Karate (ages 5-8 and ages 9-15) These classes are designed to teach children self-control, discipline, respect, and honor in addition to improving their physical and mental well-being. The ages 5-8 and ages 9-15 classes are offered simultaneously in separate classrooms for the convenience of parents with children in both age groups. Bully Defense is taught along with the children's Karate classes. Children learn to psychologically and physically deal with the bullies of this world. Karate (adults ages 16+) Adult students learn techniques applicable in self defense situations. This Toukon Ryu training also offers a variety of other benefits to include physical fitness, confidence, awareness, and personal satisfaction through personal achievement. Along with a pressure point program that has been design for students no matter their size or the size of their attacker. Self Defense (adults ages 16+) Self defense teaches students to protect themselves using effective and easy-to-use techniques. Students in high school or college benefit from this class by learning to stay safe, smart, and aware on campus. It is also incorporated into the adult Karate classes Women Self Defense (ages 12 & up) Learn awareness and techniques to keep you and your loved ones safer. Call for times and info.
