The worst!!! Two weeks ago my Movado ladies watch needed a battery. I inquired on cost, the owner older man with glasses stated that Movado batteries are more expensive than a regular watch battery, he quoted me $25.00 if I wanted to compare I could go to Kay Jewelers's across the way to compare. I didn't check but left it for him to change I paid the $25.00 and off I went. Forward two weeks and I wanted to use my watch, go figure it is dead.... I returned to this jewelry repair inquired on the warranty on the battery, I explained what happened, the same man and he said I would have to pay ANOTHER $25.00 without the receipt! He was rude, kept repeating the same thing and insisted I pay again for another battery. I asked he check the one he put in two weeks ago and again, he said if he opens it it's going to be another $25.00. Talk about zero care for the customer!! Who keeps a 3" receipt for one year!! That's crazy, he turned around and sat down, no thanks, no apologies, absolutely rude and ignorant. I then took it to a credible jewelry shop and NO SURPRISE, they installed a KNOCK OFF Movado battery!! No wonder and no surprise, talk about nerve to want to charge me over and over... shameless business. If you care about quality and treasure your items stay away from these scammers!! They rip customers off with crap batteries!! They should be ashamed of themselves to rip people off!! Buyer beware!!!! Stay away from the Auburn Jewelery repair in Auburn Mall. They SUCK!!!
