Came and shut my propane tank off, full of propane i had paid for, without notification, because my account wasn't set properly. Horrible company, and horrible to do business with. Unbelievable they have the audacity to turn off someones fuel they had PAID for, because of an account issue. Avoid doing business at all cost.

I am a new customer at Dead River Company. I chose them because another propane company I called was not helpful by any means. The other company (Portland Propane) did not return my phone calls on several occasions and after I emailed them of the incident they still ignored me, apparently they are too big to care about their customers. When I called Dead River Company they were very friendly and helpful. At one point the woman on the phone made me laugh because of her way of asking me what size tank I had. I wasn't sure what size we had. She asked me if I could hug my tank. She was very personable and up beat. She made me feel I had made a good decision in choosing them for my propane. This was an important choice because we live out of state and it is difficult to be there all the time. They were understanding to come up with a day and time that was suitable for me and my schedule of delivery and hook up. I feel secure with the choice I made to be a customer of Dead River Company.

Horrible company to work with. Delivered propane after I told them not to because I had no money to pay for it. Then, when I couldn't pay for it, took the propane tanks, including the propane I had already paid for. Would go out of my way to avoid doing business with them in the future.
