Was told there was a 4runner trail premium on the lot and drove 1 1/2 hours with the family to check it out, made an appointment with the internet sales team and was told the vehicle would be ready. Got there and was told the vehicle was sold in the afternoon. Already frustrated we were about to leave when they found a vehicle of our choice in buffalo. Was told the vehicle would be delivered and we can work on the paperwork, on the day of pickup I recieved no updates so I called them and was told the salesperson was busy with another customer and she will have to call me back. I just googled the VIN number of the vehicle and contacted the dealership it was supposed to come from, finally found out it had already been sold. A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. will never do business with this dealership and suggest you don't either. Will be telling other soldiers I come into contact here in FT Drum of my story when we talk about toyota's.

These people are scum!

DO NOT DEAL WITH FOX DEALERSHIPS in upstate NY!!!! They are scammers and con artist! A few weeks ago I emailed them about a used Camaro they had on their lot. They sent me back an email stating the lowest prices and they would take. Last night I called and confirmed the price and they again agreed to it. Since I am in SC and they are in Upstate NY, I had to check into airline tickets, accommodations, and the financing thru my bank. This morning I called them back and the Sales Manager was extremely rude and is now refusing to sell the car at the agreed upon price. He told me that I shouldn't let a few thousand dollars get between me and the car I want. (I have the phone conversations recorded) These people are scum! I also contacted the owner of the Delearship and she stands behind this practice 100%. So if your in the market for a car in the Auburn NY area do not, I repeat do not go to any of the Fox dealerships.

Yesterday my wife picked up he...

Yesterday my wife picked up her preowned BMW that she has always wanted. I found this car by chance, and was supprised to find the level of high class cars that this new Toyota and Subaru dealer had. The transaction was quick, the staff was wonderful and whole thing a pleasure. I will definitely shop here for my next car!!! Thanks Fox.

Beware!

My husband and I were looking for a used Toyota Tacoma and found one we liked, via the internet, located at this Auburn Toyota dealer. After calling to confirm the truck was still available, my husband took 4 hours off of work to drive the 1 1/2 hrs, one way, to see the truck. Upon arrival, he found the sticker price on the truck was $4000 more than the internet asking price. When my husband inquired about the discrepancy, he was told they had made a "mistake" about the price, even though the truck was confirmed still listed on the internet as $4000 cheaper. To make matters worse, this dealer was not interested in honoring that lower internet price and declined our offer to buy the truck near the lower internet price. So watch out for this dealer and their bait and switch tactics. This is one reason why car dealers have a bad reputation.

Never Again!

I purchased a car from Fox Toyota Subaru in Auburn in July 2008 and it was absolutely a dream getting out the door with the keys. The sales department was excellent. However, once i was out the door and had to deal with the service department, only 5 days later, it was a complete nightmare. I purchased a 3 year old car with less than 37k miles on it and i was stranded with engine problems after only 5 days, not a big deal, until i had it towed back to Fox Toyota. After 2 weeks of testing they told me they could find no problems and i was back on the road. 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD IT DIED AGAIN! Another 3 weeks in the shop and i was told it was the fuel pump, it would be replaced free of charge, and i was good to go. Now my fuel guage read 1/4 of a tank high and i ran the car out of gas before i knew it. The fuel pump they installed was deemed faulty except this time i was told I should consider all the work done to my car as "gratuity" and consider taking it else where. After consulting with my attourney and getting the car fixed elsewhere, (Becker Lincoln/Mercury did in two days what Fox Toyota WOULDN'T do in 7 total weeks in thier shop) Fox Toyota was upset but agreed to pay the other mechanics fees on behalf of me. I understand i should have purchased the extended warrant on the car but they wanted to charge me $3600.00 for one that i later purchased elsewhere for $2200.00. Also who expects their new car to die after driving it a couple of hundred miles? NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE THIEVES! Looking back now i purchased the car with 37k miles on it with all sorts of problems, yet if it was 36k miles or less the work on it would have been free? I can't help but think that this was no coincidence.
