I am MOST appreciative to Charles of Engel's Towing of Auburn!! Yesterday my front driver's side tire blew out during the busy afternoon traffic rush hour on the 509 in Tacoma. Initially, my insurance company's roadside assistance program dispatched a shoddy company called Auto Rescue of Olympia, LLC to help me. Auto Rescue got lost, and their tow truck driver didn't communicate with me and then showed up in a Suburban- 1 and 1/2 hours late! The driver got out, wearing no safety vest, approached my car and said dismissively in his foreign accent that he 'couldn't help me because it was not safe'- he told me I would have to be towed by someone else. I was like, WHAT??? He then abandoned me with two teenagers stuck on the side of the road. I called my insurance company again to explain and pleaded with them. Thank God they dispatched Engel's towing of Auburn! Charles from Engel's towing called me on my cell. Within minutes I explained to him what happened and about being abandoned by Auto Rescue of Olympia. He told me he'd be right there to help me and arrived within 25 minutes. Absolutely competent and professional - a BIG night and day difference! He had BIG tow truck to pull in behind me safely buffering traffic from us both - providing safety to the situation. He jumped out of his tow truck dressed properly in work boots and an orange safety vest with reflective strips, all the while giving me instructions keeping me and my passengers safely belted in the vehicle, He QUICKLY changed my tire and got me back on the road in no time. I would recommend Engel's Towing & Recovery of Auburn and Charles- WOW!! You are one ROCK star of a tow truck driver!
