Provided by YP.comGreat school! My Son started in Pre-K and is now in 5th grade. We were at a neighborhood BBQ and the Mayor asked him how's school? Which he promtly answered; well actually I love it. I have the best teacher in the school. It was nice over hearing such an honest answer to the question posed to him. I have helped out at school as a parent and must say it is not a burden but a pleasure to work with the teachers and staff

Provided by YP.comValley has the most dedicated, caring and loving teachers and staff I've ever experienced. The small classes paired with outstanding teachers, high standards for curriculum and a positive environment make this place the best! We gave public school a shot and were so sad to see the huge classes, poor curriculum, inability to tailor learning to individual learning styles and abilities and very bureaucratic approaches to problem solving. You won't find any of that at Valley. What you will find are teachers that call on weekends to see how your child is doing. Teachers that pray with you and your children when you need it. Students that genuinely care and respect one another because they're excited to be part of Valley... what a blessing this school is!

Provided by YP.comMy children have attended Valley Christian School since they were in Pre-K and have had good experiences throughout. The academics are excellent- my daughter is entering public high school this year and is in all honor classes. I feel VCS has well prepared her academically, spiritually and socially for her future, in high school and beyond.
The school provides a music program for all students, including band and handbells for the older students. PE is taught at all grades levels from K-8 and includes swimming lessons for 6 weeks every year. Middle School students enjoy electives such as quilting, sign language, band, yearbook, and home ec.
Each class takes several field trips every year, including a 3 day trip to Astoria in 5th grade to explore the area and learn hands on about Lewis & Clark. Middle School starts the year with a Spiritual Retreat in the Fall at Warm Beach Camp.
The friends that my children have made at Valley and the experiences they have been given will be treasured memories for the rest of their lives.
