I live in ALGONA the city lacks many things Like sidewalks, Fire trucks, Aid cars and a DECENT water system. Most FIRE Hydrants in the crummy little City which is not enough to be a TOWN, The Hydrants are 900'+ apart when I moved here the first week, Witness a home BURN almost to the GROUND. Before anyone from the fire Department did anything. Pay more property tax on my $250.000 home Than a $900.000 Apartment building in WEST SEATTLE. In Seattle no one EVEN has to give it any thought as to if they will get help. ALGONA without a FIRE TRUCK and Aidcar for what I pay in city Tax, Does not Have any RIGHT to call it's self a CITY Since it's VERY incomplete . WATER, SEWER, CABLE, TELEPHONE, Natural gas, SALES TAX. NO Wonder homes are Cheap in price and hard to sell. I would NOT Recommend anyone investing hard earned dollars in this place.
