Provided by YP.comHad the misfortune of using these guys because of our home warranty. Technician recommended getting a new unit rather than repairing ours. They contacted our warranty company and told them it only had minor issues the warranty would not cover. Our warranty company said this company would contact us with pricing. Conveniently they call offering a discounted rate on a new unit.
Don’t trust the con artists. They just want your money and are will to commit insurance fraud to get it.

Provided by YPmobileGreat service again for a 3rd time. I've had Bailey's work on my ac and dishwasher in the past. This time I was out of town and my in laws were staying at my house. My second ac stopped cooling but thanks to the Bailey's team they're back up and running tonight! Great company

Provided by YPmobileWould not recommend. After our heat went out on Wednesday we contacted our home warranty service and they dispatched Bailey's. They showed up Friday at about 4:00. I had already found the problem of a broken mount on the blower motor. Tech was here for 20 min and had it taken out.He said it would be Mon or tues before it would be fixed. They would have to order the part. The part store is down the street from Bailey's shop. I called the shop and they confirmed the part was in stock. After calling Bailey's on Monday we were told it would take 7 to 10 days to order the part, and we would have to wait for a tech to become available after that. So that's 2 weeks to replace a motor that takes about 20 min to fix because we have to wait for the part to be ordered from less than a mile away. Not the best service when its 25 degrees outside and you have a 5 year old and a 6 month old.

Provided by YP.comWish there was a 0 Star rating. This is the biggest case of fraud estimate that I have ever seen in person. First of all I want you to know that I have never written one of these before but I decided that if I write this I might be able to protect an elderly couple or someone that just can't afford this to happen to them. You need to avoid this company if possible but if you are like me, they was sent to you via the largest home warranty company in the United States. Let start by how I needed the service. I have a secondary AC unit that was no longer blowing cold air, so I gave them a call they dispatched them to my house the next day. I was at work and, so I had someone else meet them for this nightmare. I had them take note of what they was using to check my unit. Ask questions and what not. Well here is what the estimate included, a list of parts that the Warranty covered and a list that they did not. To the untrained eye, they would appear to be normal parts and fees. But the problem with the list is, I am NOT the untrained Eye. I did HVAC for 10 years of my life. So I knew just by reading them they was trying to rip me off. Example of a couple of the charges. There is way more then the two here but these are enough to show abuse and fraud.
1. $450 + labor for a drip pan, yep a DRIP PAN. To the untrained eye, no part number listed? This is a huge No No... Get part numbers for everything and cross reference them with another local HVAC company. They will give you retail cost of parts with no issue. By the way, the drip pan wasn't bad and to buy a retail one from any other HVAC shop, it was only $50.00 to $100. can you believe that? WOW.... FRAUD, THEIVES and whatever other word you can find.
2. 7 LBS of Freon plus labor at $60 a LB - Going rate for this area is $40 a LB. My cost, if I bought it myself with my EPA certification. $10 a lb. To the untrained eye, that is no big deal. The huge fraud here is 7lbs needed for a 52 OZ. system, that is right, less then 4lb's, even if they throw in another LB for the line to the evaporator, you are still talking about less then 5lbs at $60 a lb. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.....
It is still not right but I did find out why they do this, from another local HVAC shop that was asked to do warranty work for the same home warranty company. It is so they get paid today. The home warranty company takes weeks and even months to pay them for there service, so they want there money now. I did read another complaint on here that proved this company will charge you for stuff and not even replace your old stuff. Please beware of this companies practice.
The above numbers are a low estimate only, because I do not have my written estimate in front me but they are extremely close to what was written on the copy of the estimate, I wrote them low because if they want me to post a copy of the estimate I will. I paid a $100 for this lesson because it was the home warranty co-pay or whatever they call it. I hope you do not.

Provided by YP.comI have been without a refrigerator for two weeks because of Baileys! Two weeks ago, Baileys was quick to come out and diagnose a bad control board, for some reason it took about a week to get the part and install it. It did not fix the issue. Yesterday Baileys replaced the compressor and the refrigerator is warmer than the kitchen. Now I am waiting for the tech to tell me that something else is wrong and once again there will be nothing he/she can do because the Baileys replacement/repair shop "is already closed for the day".

Provided by YP.comBailey's was the contactor that was chosen through my home maintenance insurance but I was pleased with Mark's professionalism, the quality of his work, his attention to detail, and his patience and knowledge (I asked him lots of questions). The price was comparable to other work I have had done in the past. I did have to wait a full day to get someone on site to check out the A/C, but I'll grant an allowance for calling them in the hottest part of the year...

Provided by YP.comFirst of all, I regret the one star I gave but apparently that was the only option I had.....if it was at all possible I would give them zip zilch zero stars. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. They do not answer their phone until well after 8 am and like the previous reviewer I also had NO LUCK with the emergency number. Why have one if you don't even answer it or return calls via the messages left on it? We had no other choice but to use this company as our American Home Shield aka 'American Home Scammers' warranty company insisted we have them respond to our service call. We had NO a/c beginning on a Saturday and by Tuesday the Baileys boys finally graced us with their presence. My husband meanwhile had an acquaintance who is a service tech for another company come and diagnose the problem with the unit, however we were going to give AHS a chance to make it right since we pay them well over $600 a year. THAT was our first mistake. We knew the problem was electrical, told the secretary on the phone that it was electrical, yet when they came to 'fix' the unit all they did was a 15-minute cleaning which was unnecessary since we have that done religiously twice a year. I called immediately when they left and told the very snippy secretary that they needed to return and fix the problem asap....she told me nothing was wrong. SURE ENOUGH later that night the unit totally stopped working and we were back to 85 degree heat in our house for going on the third day. After calling the company and finally getting through to the secretary 45 minutes after they opened, I was told they could not even come back the next day to fix their stupid mistake, and that it would be the next evening! I could hardly believe my ears. SCAMMERS. Now I am paying someone else today for their work when this all could have been done the first time when Bailey's came out. DO NOT USE THEM. You will regret it.

Provided by YP.comPLEASE DO NOT USE BAILEY'S. This company has no intentions of putting the customer first. I placed multiple calls that were not returned - the phone was not even answered beginning at 8AM as their hours state. After hours line is of no use. After being persistent with multiple phone calls until finally answered, I expressed concern about not being able to get in touch with them and I ended up being the one yelled at over the phone. I was not able to explain my concern I just got an earful from the woman that answered the phone. All I could do was hang up because she would not let me get a word in and basically told me how rude I was. There are definitely better choices out there, please make that better choice.
