We went there last Saturday around 8 o'clock and was disappointed. There was hardly any food on the bar and it looked like it had been sitting there for a while. We barely sat down and got our plates before I heard a spray can by the checkout counter. I looked over and a guy was spraying for roaches on the wall. He sprayed several times until he eventually removed the calendar from the wall and tried to smack the roaches with a piece of paper. Needless to say we got our son and left immediately. The kicker to this is my boyfriend asked how much we owe for the meal and he said 17.90. He looked puzzled so my boyfriend let him know we saw him spraying for roaches and could smell it. We hadn't eaten anything and hadn't been there about 5 minutes. We refused to pay that much so he said 2.90. I called the health department first thing Monday morning. I also checked their scores online and they were extremely low. They had a 68 (U) in Sept 2010 and a 71 in Sept 2011. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. Be careful where you eat. Guang Hua Chinese Restaurant is one of the worst in Augusta. STAY AWAY!!!!
