Called spoke to Steve at Specialty Camouflage Products, Inc. He assured me he could handle taping around the trim of my interior truck parts to be re-dipped and to send them to him. Two week after I uninstall and spent the money to ship all the parts, Justin calls me back and says he is worried about the way the job will look because of the way the other company originally dipped the parts. I offer to buy and send brand new parts. We agree to just dip the parts. Later that day Steve calls me back. And starts saying that this is more than he wants to get into because of the way the other company dipped the parts. Again, I offer to send brand new parts and he agrees. Well, yep he starts to back out of doing the job with brand new parts. Now he is complaining about being able to do the job because the way the pieces themselves are shaped. Since this company has had my parts they have been trying to find a reason to not do the job. Accenting the interior pieces of an 05 silverado is over their head. So I called him out on flip flopping on what he originally said he could do. The truth hurt and he refused to do the job at all. Which was never going to get done anyway. I've been riding around for 2 weeks without my dash, window/door lock pieces, and 2 vents to only waste my time with this company. They had the nerve to send my parts back to me collect. So, $70 in Shipping cost and I have nothing to show for it. I totally feel scammed by this company. I originally thought they were a good semi-local company after my first conversation on the phone. But found out that just because they are listed on the realtree website doesn't mean they are a credible business. If a company can't be trusted to stand behind their word, they aren't worth your business. If a company isn't confident in their abilities, they aren't worth your business. If a company starts making excuses before they do a job, they aren't worth your business. I wouldn't not suggest the company to anyone, too many red flags before they even start a job. Giving them a opportunity did nothing but cost me time and money.
