My experience with Summerville Maids was the worst I have ever endured with ANY business across ANY industry, bar none. Gross incompetence and negligence is exhibited rom the manager of the company down to the hourly employees. Quentin, the owner of the company, was the most disrespectful, rude, and disingenuous individual who I have had the displeasure of doing business with.



The day of the appointment the maids arrived more than two hours earlier than agreed upon, and without all of their own equipment. I had to leave work to let them in and find them some of my own cleaning materials to use. The three maids spent three hours vacuuming, emptying the trash, and making the beds in my 2 bedroom home.



Only about half the rooms had been dusted, none of the blinds and window sills had been cleaned, no attempt was made to clean the baseboards, several pieces of furniture still had visible layers of dust, the kitchen appliances were not wiped down (including a very large coffee stain on the refrigerator which was easily removed with a paper towel, so it was obvious they didn’t clean it at all), the bathtub wasn’t cleaned (again there was a very large stain which I was easily able to remove), the floors around the bathtub and toilet weren’t cleaned, lamp shades were covered in dust, and not a single door was cleaned throughout the house. Needless to say I was pretty upset as I had just paid three cleaners $240 to do in three hours what I could have done by myself for free.



Over the course of the next week, I called dozens of times both to their office as well as to Quentin’s cell phone, always during business hours. Quentin never answered, doesn’t have a voicemail set up (which is unbelievable for someone “running” a business), and never returned my phone calls. I spoke with a different person every time the office answered, and they always told me that Quentin would call me back , but he never did.



One day I called both Quentin’s cell phone and the main office a total of fifteen separate times throughout the day, ALL during business hours and never ONCE did someone answer the phone. I tried in the morning as well as the afternoon. It is unconscionable to think that any respectable business owner would let his or her business go for days without someone answering the phone.



The next day I finally spoke with Quentin. He agreed to do a walkthrough of the home, take a look at the pictures, and to discuss what could be done. I had to again clear out my schedule to meet him, but we were able to set an appointment. When he hadn’t shown up an hour after the appointment time, I started calling him. After several attempts, he said he was at another customer’s house doing a walkthrough, and said he would be there “as soon as possible”. After another hour I called him again, he answered and said he was “in his car and on his way”. After another hour I tried again and he didn’t answer. I called him repeatedly for the next two hours but he never answered. In total I wasted four hours sitting around for him to show with never an attempt at an explanation or an apology.



I called the main office the next day and spoke with a different person entirely, and she had no idea how to help me but would tell Quentin to call me. I never heard from anyone from the company again, but a week later I got a check for half of my money back.



My wife and I ended up wasting more than a dozen hours of our time between the worthless cleaning, cleaning up after the worthless cleaning, missed appointments, and too many phone calls to count. We were out $120 and a lot of stress.

I would not wish the Summerville Maids upon anyone. They are rude, ineffective, and dishonest. They do not honor their own “Satisfaction Guarantee” as outline in their contract. The last time you will speak to Quentin is when you give him your money.

WENT DOWN HILL FAST! THEY HAD A MISHAP WITH MY HOUSE KEY, CAME ON



THE WRONG DAY WITHOUT NOTICE, I HAD TO LEAVE A CHECKLIST FOR THEM



TO COMPLETE.....I HAD TO CLEAN AFTER THEY LEFT! AND FINALLY THEY DID



NOT SHOW UP AFTER I SPOKE WITH THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY! AFTER ALL



THAT I HAD ENOUGH, THERE ARE TO MANY CLEANING SERVICES OUT THERE



FOR ME TO SETTLE WITH ONE THAT IS MEDIOCURE AT BEST!!!

I pais over $200.00 for the 1s...

I paid over $200.00 for the 1st cleaning and I was very disappointed. They didn't even tuck the sheets in the bed, left candy paper in the bathroom because " they didn't know it was trash" He offered to come back and fix the problem days later if I would point out the areas they missed I told him no because I felt like it was a waste of my time and I had already fixed the problem. I really felt taken advantage of after paying all that money then coming home and having to spend an hour cleaning before my guest arrived. They also came an hour late after I called three times.

We have been using Summerville Maids for the past year, over two different locations. It's a company I trust and have been very pleased with the job done. I think the prices are very fair, and was blown away by the move out clean on our last home. That would have taken me countless hours to get results like that! It was a much needed relief during a stressful move. Thanks Summerville!

Summerville Maids did an excellent job. I was out of town when I scheduled the appt. and being out of town for 10 months, I knew the house was going to be extremely dusty and cobwebby. We returned to find the house spotless. I am a finicky cleaner myself, so trust me, I inspected! I was pleased with their work and the results. Nothing to complain about! Would use them again in the future!

They did an excellent job! They were wonderful! They come regularly and I am always happy with the price and the cleaning. In all fairness, I have had my home cleaned for years by different companies and noone has ever moved my books to clean unless they were on the table. I highly recommend this company!

Terrible! Total waste of money! My young child cleans better. You better be prepared to wait all day since they show up hours past the set time. They wiped down 3 rooms with the same dry rag. They asked if I wanted furniture dusted & then dusted around books (3) like it was too much to move them. That was right in front of me..wonder what went on where I wasn't watching..that's why I said "not worth the $". They acted like they wanted to do the least amt possible & leave. Don't sit around waiting for them.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM!

Absoutely terrible! They don't clean! I just moved here so I didn't know anybody. Quinten was nice when he came out for an estimate. They were scheduled to come the next day at 2. They showed up at 11:30 without calling prior. Good thing I was home, o rthe cancelation charge could have applied. I told them I wanted cobwebs removed, shelves, door frames, baseboards, cupboards and windows wiped down. My daughter came to tell me they were leaving. I was checking to make sure everything was done. I came to find them with their shoes on and one hand on the door knob. I asked if they wiped the door frames down, their response was yes. I have 5 large white towels that are now black. I spent 3 hours in the kitchen doing their job tehy spent ~5 minutes in. I called to complain. Quinten was surprised adn willing to send them back out. How would that have helped? Sending the same people to do the job they whoudl have done to begin with likely would not resolved anything. I called back to have him come inspect. I called back to request a partial refund for my time 4.5 hours total doing a job I paid for someone else to do! Still hasn't been resolved! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!
