Not a 3 star hotel by any means. There were 2 friends and I staying at this hotel for a medical conference at the hospital downtown. When we entered the hotel we were intrigued by the charm..... That changed when we entered our freezing room. We assumed the heater was off and turned it on. The temp never increased. There were no extra linens in our hallway shelf and only 2 towels. We called at 800pm to the front desk to order more towels, linen, and pillows so we could make the bed on the pullout couch. At 900pm still nothing so we called again. The women at the front desk rudely asked "geez how many if y'all in there.....how much stuff you really need?" We told her that it was 3 girls and we prefer to use 2 towels a piece.... An answer to which it shouldn't matter... Then she told us she could give us towels but we'd have to walk to the front desk to get it because she could not leave. How ridiculous! Then around 10 and 1 more phone call later we got linen for the couch bed. We pulled the bed out which were covered in food crumbs. We had no privacy shade in the kitchenette and there was dried food on the counter. Our heater never ended up working and we were freezing all night. The next morning we all ran out of hot water in our showers. Overall this was an awful hotel trip and I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. The pictures from the website looked amazing. But apparently historic means old and dirty. Such a bad experience. Glad it was only one night.
