Provided by YP.comThis church has been such a home away from home. As a military family it is easy to feel lonely in a new place, but they brought us in our first Sunday here!
The atmosphere is inviting and refreshing, worship is great, and the preaching is easy to learn from and more than enjoyable.
They have an awesome kids ministry too! 4 months-6th grade on Sunday and youth group on Wednesday nights. I feel more than comfortable leaving my son in the workers care.

Provided by YP.comThis church is a very caring bunch of people who are truly seeking God's will for their lives. Very loving environment, and they are real/honest about who they are, never wanting to put on a show for anyone. So thankful to be part of this church!

Provided by YP.comI have been attending here since 2007. The new location in the renovated old Sue Reynolds School is beautiful. The people are very friendly and always welcoming to new people. Most important the Holy Spirit always seems to show up and make the worship services very special.

Provided by YP.comI have been a part of this community for the past two years. I love it.
God has been working through my pastor each week and also through the rest of the community that God has brought to VCC. I'm thankful for the honesty that is a part of the standard here-honesty in the struggles and the joys.
This is a safe place to land.
There is a Sunday worship service, many weekly home groups, a great youth group and an amazing children's church. We also have a special needs ministry.

Provided by YP.comVineyard Community Church truly breaks the mold in many different ways. When stationed in the "Bible Belt" of the South, a church can easily be nothing more than a place of cultural obligation for the folks that claim it as a part of their heritage. It can be a social club - numb to the real heart of God. This is one of the biggest molds that VCC breaks. I wandered into this church family as a Christian who had grown up all his life in a traditional church setting. I had spent a year or so searching for something that looked like Acts 4:42-47 and Philippians 2. I found it at this church. VCC is a place where you can be transparent and authentic in what you feel and believe as you walk on in your journey of faith in Jesus. The leaders trust in both the Word of God and the Holy Spirit in ministering to others. There is no "making it" in this church family. From head pastor to first-time visitors, we all acknowledge that our faith is a constant wrestling match with God and tension is a healthy thing in matters of faith. Come in and see for yourself.

Provided by YP.comThere is no criteria for you to come here. People come as they are, dressed however they choose because Jesus is the focus, not status. Stick around and you'll understand how it becomes YOUR church - not a church you're visiting. Jeff is not only a pastor but a friend who visibly gives his time and energy to anyone and anything that needs it. Worship is not intimidating, it's inviting and easy.

Provided by YP.comIn 2012, God called me away from the only home I had ever known in Pittsburgh, PA to Augusta to start a new chapter of my life for work. Little did I know at the time, He was also calling me to a new home and new family at VCC. The people at VCC, both staff and members, are welcoming and friendly. This is a place you can come as you are, without judgment, to learn about Christianity in it's purest form. You will find people to uplift and encourage you, to help bear your burdens and to walk beside you in this journey of life. My life was transformed the minute I walked into the building for the first time; I have no doubt many others have been too!

Provided by YP.comVCC truly has the feel of a home more than a church. The atmosphere is always casual, always welcoming and always genuine! I was welcomed in from my first Sunday and never left. From the people, to the coffee, to the home groups, this church offers something for everyone! I recommend our church to anyone I meet and am sure you would love it too!!

Provided by YP.comI first visited VCC about 9 years. I initially noticed the conversational, joyful flow of the pastor's sermon ("The man got teleported!" he remarked about the apostle who reappeared elsewhere after preaching to a eunuch in the book of Acts) and the freedom with which people expressed themselves in the teaching and worship. They cried if they were moved, danced to the music, shared scriptures spontaneously, etc. Once, I asked for prayer and a kind woman sat and just listened to my story and ministered to me through prayer and compassion. I kept coming month by month, year by year. VCC is a place full of normal people animated by being on God's adventure. Join us!

Provided by YP.comHi there, my name is Jeff and in 2001 my wife Jennifer and I began Vineyard Community Church in our living room. I'd like to welcome you and share a few things here as you find yourself reading this. You might check out our website to read all about our history, vision, values, programs, all that sort of stuff. I suppose what I'd like to say though beyond all that is that more than anything Vineyard is a home. That's how I felt in 1991 when I first walked into a church, and that's the motivation that led me to begin one ten years later. Church for me was a place to belong, a place where I could be myself, find the Lord, and share him with others. At VCC we're pretty average people but the church is a very sweet and special place. So as you look for a church, I welcome you and hope you'll find that same family and community with us. And if you do visit, please find me and introduce yourself to me, I might appear super busy on Sundays but ask anyone who knows me, I'm really a turtle and love meeting people. May the Lord bless and direct you as you search for a church home.
