CLOSED NOW - Opens at 3:00pm

Kya's scary high temp last night prior to heading down to Immediate Care...and being told my other 2 kids couldn't eat supper there while Kya was waiting to see a doctor. It was 7:30 pm, and I wasn't going to starve them until 10:00 pm.



My reply, "That's fine. They can eat it in my car on the way to Wesley's Pediatric ER!" (Mumbled a few expletives, but did manage not to tell that desk witch exactly what I thought of her.)



FYI...SBA Immediate Care...not getting a glowing review from me today!

This is a GREAT place to go for urgent care! From the moment we walked in, we felt that everyone truly cared about us. From the receptionist at the front desk, the nurse who did the initial exam and the Nurse Practitioner who made the diagnosis and ordered the medications - all were friendly and professional. Since we were from out of town and it was late on a Saturday evening, they gave us choices on how we wanted to get our medications, which was a great bonus. I was able to get the first dose of antibiotic there and pick up the rest of my prescriptions at our home pharmacy the next day. I would highly recommend the Susan B. Allen facility in Augusta for anyone with an urgent care need.
