I have ordered 5 cakes from Kennebec Chocolates and Jen always comes through with a beautiful cake. Some of the cakes I have asked for were not ones she had ever attempted before but she made them and they far exceeded my expectations!!! 5+ stars in my book!!

I am very sad to have to leave a negative report for Kennebec chocolates we ordered a cake for my sister-in-law's son's first birthday expecting it to be just as fabulous as the ones we order in Alabama. however we were severely disappointed when the cake turned out to be nothing like the drawing that we had agreed upon and none of the stipulations that we had agreed upon however it was the day of the birthday party an hour before when we went to pick it up and there was no person present to help resolve the situation so when we called 5 days later to try to speak with the manager about resolving the issue by either having the right cake made with what we paid for or having some of our money refunded as it was not up to our expectations for the amount of money we paid the manager or owner immediately responded to my complaint by being rude I was not rude I had no negative tone in my voice I was simply trying to express that it wasn't what we wanted and we were disappointed she said to me I'm the manager and that's not going to happen its a misunderstanding on her part meaning my sister in law and I did exactly what I was supposed to and then hung up on me for what you pay and the lack of standing behind their product I would never recommend or use kennebec chocolates ever again unless new managers or owners who knew how to stand behind their products and satisfy customers took place. we're not looking for something for free we didn't want a full refund we just wanted either part of our money back or just the cake made the way that it was supposed to be made so that we could take pictures with it and have the first memory of his first cake the way that it was for her first son.I am strongly disappointed frustrated and sad to report that this is not a place to do business
