Unethical - They take advantage of nursing students!

They're graduation rate is under 50% most years. Prior to enrollment, Platt College Aurora nursing students sign a contract ensuring that regardless of program completion, all students are responsible for four quarters of fees exceeding two thousand dollars. Because of the low graduation rates, many students who have quit the program or failed the program are paying fees on future semester quarters they will not participate in. Further more, according to Robert Craver, the college’s Director of Financial Services, a percentage of uncompleted tuition from future quarters must also be paid to the school or those students will be turned over to collections. Second year students quitting the program after just one quarter of a school year are liable for more than $4,000 dollars in unused tuition and fees.
