They are bad at answering the phone also the security there harasses almost everyone

I got my son a reversible belt in Aug. and the buckle broke after wearing it 2 times. I didn't rush back to replace it because upon reading the back of my receipt I could exchange the item or get store credit even if the receipt is more than 30 days old. On day 50 I finally took it in to exchange it and was told by the associate and associate manager that they could not exchange it because it was over 30 days. I asked to speak with a manager and was told by him that if the merchandise is not resale able they could not exchange it. I advised him of what the receipt says and he was unable to show me where it states on the receipt that a broken item could not be exchanged. He informed he would let me exchange it this once and hurried out of my sight. I have not had such bad customer service in a long time and I will not be going back to Ross. TJ Maxx gets my family's business and I'll let all my girlfriends know what happened.
