I lived in a small mountain town and needed to replace my weather stripping. I figured while I was in town to get it replace... small problem led into huge problems. Shortline first mocked me (a mechanic) by saying it would be cheaper to buy a brand new car. I figured their list was somewhat true, so I allowed them to change an axle on the front of my car along with the weather stripping. When I got my car back, the steering wheel shook all the way home, I was in a hurry to beat rush hour, next thing I know, my rear tire is wobbling off the hub. Called AAA to get it towed to the nearest shop. The lug nuts weren't secured by Shortline. Shortline reimbursed me for the work done. Upon further inspection, the weather stripping still had cracks in it and they only replaced the hangers for a ludicrous amount of money. After that huge headache, my steering wheel still shook, so as a mechanic, I replaced about a grand worth of parts that eventually needed it anyways which helped a lot but I still have a slight shake in my steering wheel now as a constant reminder. Thanks Shortline!

I bought a Subaru in 2010, and the service has been absolutely atrocious. They use scare tactics to try to get me to do unnecessary services, and when I dropped my car of for an oil change and tire rotation at 7:30 am for an 8:30 am appointment, they didn't bother with it until 3:30 pm, even though I told them I needed it by noon. You will get horrific service from this dealership, and they don't care if it inconveniences you. I was actually told that while I did have an appointment, the people who waited for their cars took priority to my appointment.

Needed to get a spare key & remote. I requested a quote and was told/quoted "$62" over the phone, so I proceeded to make an appointment. Showed up and the $62 quote was only for labor in creating the key - not for the actual key itself or programing the chip inside the key. Not sure why in the heck a person would only pay for labor and not the actual key/remote. The total costs out the door was $355. Thought this quote/partial disclosure was absolutely DISHONEST AND SHADY. So my question to the service department and the manager on duty was, why would one ever just pay the service charge for a key without the physical key?! No one had an answer for me or was even willing to explain why the quote was incorrect. Got the take or leave it attitude from the service department, so I am taking all my Subaru business elsewhere. I did use their free WIFI to send in a compliant regarding this false - incomplete quote while I waited. No response to date. Everyone was rude so and I am so put off

Kenny Anderson and John Myers were great. Call them if you want a Subie. Easy to work with and great salespeople.
