To Whom It May Concern-

I own a small ship yard on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. In 2011 I researched a lathe I was looking for and found it through Belmont Machinery. I purchased the lathe and primarly dealt with the owner, Matt Sawyer. Upon arrival of the lathe, we discovered that the lathe was non functioning for numerous reasons. Prior to arrival I was reassured by Matt, the owner, that the lathe was in tip top shape and ready to go, this was not the case. Not only was I lied to about the condition of the lathe, after its arrival Matt did not take any ownership of resolving this issue. I strongly urge any one looking at equipment from this company to look somewhere else.
