Provided by YPmobileRan across these guys on a google search. The part I was looking for every other salvage yard had no idea what it was let alone the specific part varriation. I went in to get it and they didnt have the exact one in the yard and said "we will get it out of rockford and will be here tomorrow." Both Art and Chris are very cool and helpful. Im coming up here from Joliet from now on.

Provided by YP.comThe person in the below review had this work done knowing that City Auto was not a "Car Repair Business" and that they were doing the work as a favor in an attempt to lower the cost. Not only did they replace the fuel pump, they also replaced injectors to try and fix the issue (which by the way is a lower compression ratio in one cylinder). As the referred to brother in this below review, I was already aware of the fact from a previous experience (the car would not start) that the pump needed replacement anyway. City helped in trouble shooting that problem prior to the below visit. City refunded the $125 they charged to her. These guys have done nothing but go out of their way, which they did not have to do, to try and help. They are excellent people to deal with. If you are a business and are reading this review, DO NOT EVER DEAL with the individual that wrote the below, you will only suffer the same fate as City Auto did. Keep up the excellent work guys!

Provided by YP.comDo not go here, they will rip you off. You won't realize at first, they are good at doing. Matt the supposed owner told me my fuel pump was reading low 30lbs pressure, he told me i had to get that fixed NOW, ASAP, don't wait you'll go out to your car one day and it won't start. Went back there had them work on it, as it's been relayed via Matt to my brother, Matt put in a new pump but it also read 30lbs pressure, not being a certified auto mechanic and repair shop (found that out later as well) Matt made a call to find out where my fuel pump reading should be on my particular car make, model, yr, it suppose to read at 40-30lb press. so my fuel pump was fine, did not need replaced......he replaced it anyways and charged me 125.00. I've left messages wit Matt via phone, he will not call back....told my brother he's afraid to talk to me. Called the main number to get his last name, the employees put me on hold forever to never come back to the phone, Gene (he should not work with the public at all, horribly rude person) but he had the nerve to tell me i was harassing them, (excuse me i want to know why you took a perfectly good part out of my car and replaced it leaving me a 125$ bill),called one more time and the guy was just plain stupid. I've emailed Matt, no reply, i emailed Gene, he sent it back. Since the time i drove out of their lot, they have refused to have any contact with me about the work they did on my car. This is literally disgusting that a place that has been in business for so long would do such a thing. That 125.00 could have went to other repairs my car needs. Thing that gets me, is they refuse to talk to me about it, thats unacceptable!!!!!!
