I've always been a little weary of restaurants in strip plazas but being burned out on everything else in the local area, I decided to try Giovanni's after passing it by for a year. When I looked in the window, the place was empty but I decided to be brave as it was early in the dinner hour.



I opened the door I was warmly greeted by Giovanni. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was and I like that the kitchen is open and in plain view of the dining room. When I entered the lavatory to wash my hands, I was amazed at not only how clean it was but that it was decorated and felt like being in a home.



I enjoyed a fresh house salad with house dressing which delightfully engaged my taste buds. As I finished my salad, I looked in the kitchen just in time to watch Chef Juan plate my Chicken Marsala carefully arranging it.

My order arrived at my table and the presentation was excellent. One of the things that caught my eye was the much lighter color of the Marsala sauce. It was light and a perfect complement to the chicken which was tender and perfectly cooked.



After finishing my meal, I could have been perfectly content to leave until Giovanni told me about his fresh made deserts. I could never resist cheesecake and like everything else, it was perfect. It was creamy, had excellent texture and flavor.



During the course of my dinner, that empty dining room filled with both new and regular customers who raved about their

favorite dishes, how nice the place is, and how they are recommending it to all their friends.
