I took a well-loved blouse to this shop a few weeks ago. My first reaction to the repair quote was- No, I'm not going to spend more to fix this than I likely paid for it in the first place. I bought it on sale at Beall's probably six or seven years ago. Don't get me wrong, I knew the price was fair because as someone who used to sew, I knew what I was asking would be a lot of work.

But then after thinking it over, I went back and I'm so glad I did- with the new elastic and stitching, my blouse looks brand new! It's something I really love and feel comfortable in, the colors are perfect for me, and on top of that, it's 100% rayon. Why did I hesitate in the first place? It was totally worth the investment.

As further confirmation of my decision, someone stopped me in the grocery store today to tell me they really liked my top! Who knows? Maybe with good care, I'll get another six or seven years service from this garment. :)

I have used this business 2 times in the past 7 months. Both times I was pressed for time and needed expedited services. Lisa (Owner/Operator) was very accommodating and as friendly as could be. The alterations I required were no small feat and she handled with excellent quality and service. I would highly recommend this business to others and will continue to use as my needs dictate.
