If I ever questioned whether Austin was a dog city or not, this organization confirmed it was. I stopped by APA headquarters yesterday to volunteer with some of the over load of displaced animals from all the fires. There were tons of people here volunteering and dropping of food & supplies. The amount of love floating around this place was amazing. I signed up as a foster mom and plan on spending more time volunteering here. In the midst of a tragic situation everyone here, volunteers & staffers alike were lifting each others spirits. I know it's been said before but I am gonna say it again. This place is absolutely fantastic.
