At 9:30am we went into this location, asked to be seated in the booth near the restrooms where we usually sit out of the way because my husband has to use his mobility service dog.

As the waitress was bringing our drinks the manager came over & wanted to see the dog's license. There are no cards for service dogs. People that claim their pet is a service animal go online & buy false documents, but the Americans Disability Act makes it clear that it's not needed. The dog was clearly identified as a service animal on his mobility harness & had tags on his harness also. We were so shocked that she insisted he needed a "card" and at her blatant disregard for a federal statute from 1990. A specific restaurant we'd been to on numerous occasions over the last few decades with an assistance dog, the frequent prior visits to other local Denny's and all the money we've spent at other locations nationwide definitely erased my appetite. Please educate your manager, the attorneys shouldn't have to.

my name is alicia. i actually used to work at dennys on st johns as well as the one on burnet rd. i just want to rate you guys honestly and i m not rating you awesome just because i used to work there. everyone i knew to work there were very welcoming and treated customers with great respect. i would recommend anyone who wants great service and great food made by great people to go straight to dennys! no questions asked. i have never had a meal that wasnt hot or freshly made. its a great place for families to go. they have a great choice for kids and they have kids eat free on tuesdays and saturdays. as far as night time goes, after i hit up the bars, dennys is the place i go to have some delicous, satisfying food. all i m saying is dennys is the place to go for anyone. i love dennys. its my favorite restaraunt to go to. i would recommend going there to anybody. keep up the good work and just for your information. you should get more dennys in the columbia area in south carolina. i love you guys!!!
