This woman did the same to me she took my money out of my debit card for a child custody case . She claimed she would charge me for the first court hearing and charge me the rest when we actually went to court. At first she did get my children temporarily but my ex countered by trying to set a restraining order in which she claimed i interrupted a 911 call. I called sarah to see what my next step was but NO ANSWER. I went to her "office", i called, i left e mails. NOTHING. I had to return my children so my ex would drop the rest. ord. It was literally the worst day of my life . TO TOP IT ALL OFF SHE USED MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER TO TAKE WHATEVER MONEY I HAD LEFT IN MY BANK ACCOUNT.She gave me a ridiculous made up bill to justify the money she took. I BELIEVE SHE SPENT MORE TIME ON THIS BILL THAN SHE DID ON THE ACTUAL CASE.STAY AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN SHE WILL ONLY MAKE YOUR LIFE A NIGHTMARE LIKE SHE DID MINE. If i could give this woman a negative or zero star rating i would.

Avoid this lawyer at all costs. Years ago, I paid her significant money upfront for what was supposed to be a simple divorce settlement. After taking my money, she dissappeared for months, answered only a few scattered e-mails, and when I finally threatned to take her to small claims court to recoup my payment to her, she tried to scare me off by sending me a bill for services unrendered. This woman is basically a scam artist. I should have been tipped off by the fact that, at least at the time, she had no formal office, but some type of shared co-op meeting room with other people that she used for initial meetings. I saw her once, then never saw her again.

Let's see...after no progress was available to me on my case, and she repeatedly told me she submitted many different documents, I dismissed sarah and requested a refund, after finding out she had done absolutely nothing. In requesting a refund, I asked for all of the work (in copies) she had done prior to my case. The only items she had, were the documents I submitted to her! After I received my refund check, I noticed she charged me $2200 to do absolutely nothing!! When I confronted her about this, (which is surprising, becauase she is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of), I informed her about her accounting records where incorrect, according to my itemized list she reported to me of all the work she said she did, and she owed me alot more money. To this day, she has not paid me back, and I would not recommend her to anyone. Also, Sarah didn't have a paralegal, or a secretary, and attorneys who do not have these important people are not creditable attorneys. Bottom line: Don't waste your money!
