Provided by YP.comI cannot speak more highly of First Foundations Preschool! After 3 years of attending, we never want to leave, and wish they had an elementary school as well. My children have attended other schools but have never been as thrilled to get to school every morning as they are at FFP.
I have been amazed by the high caliber teachers that genuinely love the kids, and are dedicated to their development. They teach them the required academics in such thoughtful and creative ways while also building in an important Christian foundation. The teachers also care about the families at the school in addition to the children themselves. I was so impressed with how happy the teachers were to be working at FFP. The positive attitudes and joy within the school start from top, and you just feel it radiate throughout the entire building. The environment is so warm and inviting, and I knew the minute that I walked in for a tour that I had to enroll.
I would recommend First Foundations to anyone looking for a school with absolutely no hesitation. Don’t look anywhere else because this is where you need to be!

Provided by YP.comOne of a kind...a gift to you and your kids!
Four years ago I was searching for something better. Our first preschool didn't understand my daughter...she was miserable. I set out to find something new that would do more than just meet my kids' needs. I still remember walking through the front door at First Foundations (FFP), meeting Steffani Wilkins...and exhaling. This was the place.
My son and daughter both spent three years at FFP - including the kinder-readiness program (for both) and kindergarten for my daughter. It seems unreal to say, but each class and each teacher was an exceptional experience. When one year would end, I would wonder how the next year could ever live up to that experience. But, each time it did. Both of my kiddos grew their confidence and skills - while having fun ...which is so important! The teachers exceeded my expectations - each sharing their unique gifts and talents with the kids...and with me.
We're at a new 'big kid' school this year, and I'm lamenting that I don't have a third child so we could still have our daily connection with this amazing school and the precious teachers. Thankfully, those teachers are now my friends.
If you are looking for a preschool for your kids, you need to visit First Foundations. This is the place that will nurture, enrich, and love your kids (and your entire family).

Provided by YP.comWe love First Foundations and have had an entirely positive experience with the school. Our daughter spent one year in FFP and entered public Kindergarten well prepared and ahead of the curve. Our son is currently enrolled in the two day program for 3 year old children. He is definitely all boy and I worried about how he would fit into the classroom setting. He is flourishing and thriving within FFP's loving and caring model. His teacher does a fantastic job of lovingly directing the chaos that is the pre-school classroom! She allows the children freedom to explore their learning environment but provides just the right amount of direction and enthusiasm to get them excited about what they are learning. We are a Christian family, and FFP has been a blessing to our children and our family as a whole. Both of our children's faith in Christ and understanding of our savior has been strengthened by their time at FFP.

Provided by YP.comI want to respectfully disagree with the negative review on here. My own child is very "active" and has been greeted with love and respect. We have attended First Foundations for three years and each teacher has seen her as unique and individual and graciously treated her as such. My son is in his first year and is loving it as well. From a parent with an active and a calm child, I can tell you that they both absolutely thrive at this school.
From personal experience with this school that I love, when a child is active, the parents are encouraged and loved and given resources to truly help the child reach his or her potential. Teachers have meetings. They pray for the child. They work with the parents to help the child in very generous ways. In a week long camp environment, there is no time for that relationship to be established or developed. My guess is that if the same child were enrolled for the entire year, many strategies and modifications would be first made in order to ensure his success.
My career is to provide staff trainings for schools around the country. First Foundations Preschool is always one of my top examples of how a loving school can be achieved. The FFP teachers love God and children. They live it. They model it. I highly recommend this school to friends and they all love it just as I do.
It makes me so sad that a parent's response when someone tries to help open his eyes to a possible concern with his child is to attack the messenger.

Provided by YP.comBest Preschool EVER!! My family and I relocated to Austin 3 1/2 years ago. Prior to our move I had a friend in Austin give me preschool recommendations and one was First Foundations Preschool. The Director, Steffani Wilkins, spent at least an hour on the phone with me talking about my son who would be starting his 4 year old class less than a week after our arrival. She made me so comfortable over the phone that I knew I'd found our preschool, site unseen. I couldn't wait for him to start and meet the teachers and staff. He thoroughly enjoyed his year at FFP and learned so much and was more than ready to begin kindergarten and thrive. My son is an easy-going kiddo and adapts well to most situations. He made many friends at FFP and remembers his time there fondly. We have twin daughters who attended FFP, as well, for their 3 & 4 year old classes. They can tend to be, although sweet hearted, a little more to handle in terms of attitude and stubbornness. The teachers at FFP showed nothing but love and kindness to my easy-going son and sometimes hard to handle daughters. The twins shared a class when they were 3 and had separate classes when they were 4 years old. The girls were able to thrive in both situations and now that they are in kindergarten are doing so well academically and socially. They miss going to FFP and seeing their teachers and friends. I highly recommended FFP to many friends and they have all loved the preschool, as well. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful school. The teachers and staff are kind hearted, loving, Christian women and want nothing but the best for the children. They find it a privilege everyday to teach not only the academics of preschool and getting the kids kindergarten ready but also the word of God. If you send your child(ren) here you will not be disappointed!
