WebsiteWe are local and family owned. Our family has been in the business in Austin since 1954. We have been at our present location since 1973, we are one of the last original stores in the shopping center. We have 5 main employees: Gene(dad), Donna(mom), Kyle(son), Blake(grandson) and Rene. We even joke around and say that we adopted Rene. Rene is our lab tech, he cuts and measures the work. We do majority of the jobs in house. Sometimes the grandkids and my wife, Vanessa, work on the weekends. My son (Bryan) works with us during summertime when he is not away at college. We are known for our customer service and our great frame selection. Gene has over 50 years experience and Rene has 20 years.

Provided by YP.comWhat a great store! I slept in my glasses and the lens fell out. They repaired it in about 5 minutes, along with tightening everything up so they fit again. They didn't even charge me anything. Go there! You'll love it!

Provided by YP.comThis optical had a great selection of frames and good prices. i got the new drivewear lens. Direct sun really hurts my eyes and Gene recommended these lens. i love them! Gene had original frames from the 50, 60, 70's, etc along with great new looks. i love this place. sincerely, Jaden
