Mike Gideon is AMAZING!!! I bought an antique what-not-shelf that was in VERY rough shape thinking it would be a great project (recent empty nest). My mother-in-law (who once owned an antique business) said I was in way over my head. I called around and Mike called me back promptly. He came by the next day and looked at the piece recommending that I not refinish it but just have it repaired and use some wood restoring products. It didn't have a key to open the curved glass center and he made recommendations on where I could get that done. He was so helpful and knowledgeable! He came the next day and picked it up right from my house. A week later he calls and says the piece is finished. Really??? Last time I had someone in the business fix a piece, he took 6 months plus!!! Mr. Gideon brought it by that morning and it is SO GORGEOUS!!!
