Dr. Jarett Hulse has been practicing dentistry now for over 11 years. He was born and raised in New York City, then moved down to Austin, TX with his wife Stephanie to start a new life, a family, and a dental practice! Dr. Hulse graduated in 2001 with a bachelors of science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He then received his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. Following that, he completed an intensive general practice residency in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Despite looking so young, Dr. Hulse has a lot of experience!After his residency he joined a high end cosmetic dental practice in the heart of Manhattan, just three blocks from Times Square. There he practiced for several years and developed a following, before deciding that it was time to leave the rat race and move down south to become a dentist to the kinder, nicer people of Austin, Texas.Though Dr. Hulse has been out of school for many years, he is constantly educating himself and learning more and more about the fast moving field of dentistry. In fact, Dr. Hulse has taken so many continuing education courses that he has been awarded his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D). To do this a doctor must past a rigorous exam, and take 1100 hours of continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry. Less then 1% of dentists ever achieve this award. Most are 15-20 years older then Dr. Hulse. To obtain it at the age of 36 is very rare indeed.Due to his extensive education in Dental Implants, Dr. Hulse has also obtained his Fellowship in the world renowned International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.C.O.I.). Being awarded these two fellowships puts Dr. Hulse in a very elite group of dentists. He strives to be the best dentist in south Austin.
