Just FYI - Unfortunately, health department regulations prevent any establishment that serves prepared foods from allowing outside food or drink to be brought in. An exception is also allowed for birthday cakes.

My kids went to a party there and had a good time.

We had a birthday party there ...

We had a birthday party there yesterday. When we set it up, and when I called to confirm (not having received a confirmation email) I was told very specifically you either order pizza from them or bring in only cake and water. No outside food is allowed. I was told I couldn't even bring in a juice box, not a single one. The party was fine, staff not involved but friendly. One kid got a concussion; as it became more crowded later there wasn't much monitoring going on. I saw another party enter, bringing in all kinds of food, which I had been told was against the rules. I went to ask about it and was told that party had made a deal with the owner, allowing them to bring in food. They had platters of it, walking past me while I was talking to the staff; the third party that was there at the same time had also been told it wasn't allowed and were also mad. So - if you schedule a party there, earlier is better than later, and if they tell you that you can't bring in food please know it isn't true - either talk to the owner and get your own deal or go ahead and bring it in.
