We had already had one experience that was less than stellar from LAMBS but since they are so convenient we wanted to give it one more try. How much can you screw up putting on a new set of tires. The tire technician looked at all of our tires and pointed out one that would be a decent spare, noting that the one under the Rodeo was "rotten." That was nice, because we wouldn't want to find out we had an unusable spare tire when we really needed it. Additionally we decided to get an alignment to make sure everything was smooth and straight. So, we left the Rodeo with them and received a call that it was ready the next morning. I went out to the Rodeo saw that they did put the right kind of tires on the car, check. Next was the spare, hmmm...nothing was touched on the spare. So I had to go back in and ask why the spare wasn't done. They "just forgot I guess" was the response. Well, when the tire tech went to the Rodeo, he didn't even know how to lower the spare. When I showed him how to lower the spare they took it back and mounted the best tire from the ones they took off. But then he couldn't raise the spare back into the wheel well. At that point, I made a conscience decision that I would not be using this LAMBS location ever again. FYI - Their biggest problem is that that don't take care of the details; they never write down what you are telling them (i.e. this is the spare that I want) and that projects an image that says to me "you are just another customer we have to deal with"
